EnChord Published by Dynamic Delights
Your group.
Your space.
Chat, voice, screen sharing and shared boards for your group. I’m building EnChord to keep those things together, with message content encrypted on your device.
End-to-end encrypted messages. Keys on your device.
Text, voice, stages, forums, files and more.
Task boards, polls, timers, milestones…
A flat canvas, a list, or 3D space.
Yours. Message content is encrypted on your device.
01 What’s inside
Here’s what’s in the app.
Set up channels for your group, choose who can access them, and add the tools you need.
01 Conversation
Give each topic a channel.
Separate the conversations. Keep threads, pins and the group’s messages easy to find.
- Messages that stay yours
- End-to-end encrypted direct messages, group conversations and community text channels.
- A little more room
- Give each topic a channel. Use threads for the details, and pins for the things everyone needs.
02 Voice
Jump into voice.
Join a voice channel when typing gets old. Share your screen when it’s easier to show what you mean.
- Drop into voice
- Voice channels live alongside your text rooms, so your group keeps its conversation in one place.
- Show what you mean
- Share your screen to walk through a project, explain a problem, or work something out together.
03 Shared plans
Put it on a board.
Give tasks, notes and plans somewhere to live besides the chat history.
- A board everyone can work on
- Document channels open onto a shared canvas. Lay it out flat, read it as a list, or step into it in 3D.
- Decide what’s next
- Plan events and use polls to decide what happens next, right alongside the conversation.
04 Your community
Set up your community.
Shape your community with invitations, roles, permissions and moderation tools.
- Choose who gets access
- Roles and permissions give people the access they need and a clear place to take part.
- Set the moderation rules
- Moderation tools for your team, plus Sentinel, EnChord’s AutoMod bot, with keyword, spam and link rules.
05 Your identity
Make it look like you.
Customize your avatar, profile and how your name shows up.
- Profile collections
- Frames, banners, name styles and member-list effects designed to work together.
06 Built-in bots
Bots that follow the same rules as people.
EnChord’s own bots are ordinary apps with their own end-to-end encrypted identities. They hold keys the way a person’s device does.
- Melody
- Music for your voice channels.
- Sentinel
- AutoMod for your community, configured from community settings.
- Assistant
- A personal AI assistant in your direct messages, using your own API key. Part of EnChord Plus.
02 Security
Keyweave, the encryption behind EnChord.
End-to-end encrypted messaging with hybrid post-quantum key agreement, MLS for upgraded direct messages, and separate encrypted history recovery.
Keyweave is a name for how EnChord combines established cryptography. It is not a new cipher. Here is exactly what it uses.
| Component | Implementation |
|---|---|
| Upgraded direct messages | MLS (RFC 9420) with the X-Wing draft suite: X25519 + ML-KEM-768, ChaCha20-Poly1305, HKDF-SHA-256, Ed25519 |
| Community and earlier messages | Signed, context-bound encryption: AES-256-GCM, X25519 + ML-KEM-768, HKDF-SHA-384, Ed25519 |
| History recovery | A separate AES-256-GCM encrypted recovery vault. Live MLS ratchet state is never exported. |
| Recovery kit | A binary .keyweave file protected with Argon2id and AES-256-GCM. |
What’s covered.
- EncryptedMessage content and attachments in direct messages, group conversations and community channels, encrypted on your device.
- SeparateAccount and service metadata are handled separately from message content.
- SeparateVoice and screen sharing have their own security boundaries.
- RecoveryA recovery kit restores your keys, not a transcript. Password resets and two-factor recovery codes don’t restore message keys.
- ReviewAn independent third-party security review is planned and not yet complete.

04 Developers
Build on EnChord.
Register an app, request OAuth2 scopes, call the REST API and listen on the realtime WebSocket gateway. Bots get their own end-to-end encrypted identities, just like a person’s device.
Official SDKs come in three languages with one version and one wire format. They’re byte-compatible: the same seed produces the same X25519, Ed25519 and ML-KEM-768 keys in every language, so a bot can move from one to another without being provisioned again.
| Language | Runtime |
|---|---|
| TypeScript / JavaScript | Node 24+ |
| Python | Python 3.9+ |
| Java | Java 17+ |
